Nice blackened sludge doom debut from Murfreesboro, TN. The tracks deviate between 10+ minute dirges of sludge to short seances of weird ambient drone. The longer tunes suffer a bit by sounding a little too much the same
(most of the "song" tracks have an identical intro-heavy-bridge-heavy-outro
formula) - while nothing too original it is definitely pained and miserable enough to devote a solid listen. And I actually really dig the dissonant instrumental stuff in between songs. The band changed its name to avoid any legal complications and is evidently still at it so give 'em a listen. Enjoy.
